Unlike most every other realtor, I have not had a long and storied career outside of the real estate industry. I started in residential real estate in 1985, I hit a million dollar in sales after my first full year in the business and was the youngest person to earn the million dollar club award in 1987, with our local board of realtors. In 1989 I moved into the commercial side of the equation, working in sales/leasing and marketing projects for a Columbus based developer. In the mid 1990’s I jumped to the Title Insurance and Escrow side of our industry where I enjoyed a sixteen year career owning and operating one of the most successful title agencies in Central Ohio. In 2010 I came back into residential real estate sales, where in truth my heart has always been. With my previous company I earned the rising star award both in 2011 and 2012, the Brokers Award in 2013, 2014, and the President’s award in 2015 and became a partner agent. So as you can see Real Estate has been in my blood for some 31 years – some say I need a transfusion!
While real estate has always been a huge part of my life there are other parts too! I am the proud mother of a 21 year old son named Gus, who attends the University of Kentucky, as well as three step kids, Ben, David and Olivia. I also have the privilege of being married to Tony who runs his owns Commercial contracting company, KBI Construction.
I am a fabulous cook, DIY home decorator, animal lover, hockey fan, and amateur wine connoisseur. I don’t always know that I am terrible at sports. I sometimes run with scissors, and don’t always share my toys in the sand box. I will be the first to tell you if you have a brilliant idea and also the first to tell you if your idea is not so great, so in my mind in all balances out. I am great team player, but a better team leader.
If this suits you and there is something that I can help you with, we’ll work together fabulously well together. If not, I’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions, no strings attached, and make recommendations if you let me.
Call me today to discuss your future plans, the Bluejackets game or your favorite wine.
